Prepared Meals Menu

Using the same fresh ingredients, careful preparation and attention to detail that Chef Douglas has become famous for when preparing meals for his In-Cabin Gourmet Dining Experience, he has created a menu designed especially for his customers to heat and serve at their convenience. Each menu item is carefully prepared in your cabin prior to your arrival and left in the cabin’s refrigerator. Clear easy to follow heating instructions are attached to the microwave and conventional oven safe containers. All of the items are fully cooked and made from all natural ingredients using no preservatives. The items will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to one week and in the freezer for up to three months.

Appetizers - $10 Each

Jumbo shrimp cocktail with fresh made cocktail sauce
Tender jumbo Gulf shrimp with Chef Douglas’ own fresh made cocktail sauce

Artichoke, spinach and parmesan dip
Creamy and rich dip served with crackers

Smoked Alaskan salmon mousse
The subtle smoke flavor perfectly complements the smooth Sockeye salmon mousse

Thai chicken tenders with peanut sauce
Spicy and sweet glazed chicken tenderloins with fresh made Thai peanut dipping sauce

Soups - $10 Serves Two

Filet mignon soup
A rich beef stock with Portobello mushrooms and cubes of extra tender filet mignon

Award winning chili
This recipe has won Chef Douglas two first place awards . . . just enough heat and spice without being overpowering

Beef Burgundy with buttered egg noodles
Tender cubes of filet mignon and rich Burgundy wine sauce puts this dish over the top

Mom’s famous meat loaf and gravy with mashed potatoes
No, really Chef Douglas’ mom created this delicious recipe and he has added his own talents to make this the best you have ever tasted

Cajun Bourbon chicken with red beans and rice
Cajun spices, Andouille sausage and garlic are combined to make this a real Louisiana treat

Chicken Tuscany with roasted garlic and sage white beans
The fresh herbs, tomatoes and Parmesan cheese from this famous culinary region of Italy inspired this classic creation

Poached Alaskan salmon in fresh herb sauce with risotto
The delicate flavor of the salmon is cooked in white wine and enhanced by fresh herbs from Chef Douglas’ garden

Each menu item serves one person (unless otherwise noted). You may choose as many items from each of the four menu categories as you like.

A minimum order of $100 is required.
A 15% gratuity will be added to your order.
Please order at least 48 hours in advance.

HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

In order to facilitate the reservation process please include the following information in your initial email:

  • Menu Selections
  • Your Name
  • Best email address
  • Best Phone numbers to reach you at work, home and cell
  • Name of cabin rental company
  • Name of cabin
  • Arrival date and estimated time

Chef Douglas will reply with a conformation of the appointment and payment information. Please indicate if you prefer to pay by credit card, debit card or check.

Appointments are subject to the cabin owner or rental company providing Chef Douglas with access to the cabin on the day of your arrival. Please notify the cabin owner or rental company of the appointment and let them know that Chef Douglas will be in contact with them to arrange access to the cabin. If access to the cabin cannot be made available on the day of your arrival, Chef Douglas will contact you to arrange another time during your stay when it would be convenient for him to come and prepare your meals.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Secure payment through PayPal for credit and debit cards is accepted. Or you may mail a check to Chef Douglas prior to your arrival.
